We have distributed 12 solar ovens to low-income women-led households in Muhanga, bringing a simple climate solution closer to families that need it most.

By cooking with sunlight whenever the weather allows, households can reduce their use of charcoal and firewood, save on cooking fuel, and help reduce pressure on local trees.

This support also helps ease the burden on women who often carry the responsibility of finding fuel and preparing meals for their families.
