Save our planet

You were so calm and pretty,

Oh, you were beautiful!

And safe ...

You were splendid!

Fresh air,

Clean water

Fertile soil,

All the universe,

 was decorated

in untainted natural beauty.

Then greediness set in,

We robbed you

of all your beauty,

To feed our industries,

And you became prey…

But I still remember ...

you were so calm and pretty,

You were so beautiful...

You were safe ...

Now we are hopeless.

Floods, droughts, epidemics

And more...

That’s all we get.

I have hope though,

That if we take action,

And we embrace renewables,

We can escape this hell.

And the next generation

Will live ever happily after.
